The biggest ski resort in Eastern Europe
Bansko blends ski-town charm with rich Bulgarian culture. It offers cozy traditional mehanas serving local cuisine, a lively après-ski scene with pubs, karaoke, and nightlife, plus casual spots for budget meals and artisan bakeries for breakfast. Whether you're after craft beer, fine dining, or mountain vibes, there's something for everyone.
Empty pistes, full restaurants
Crans-Montana gets epic sun. Across the resort you can glimpse views of the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc. There are over 140km of pistes (much of which is back country), a glacier, a decent snowpark, and fantastic golf in summer.
